Hi, I’m Mikol Kindle — a photographer, storyteller, and visual artist based in McKinney, Texas.
I’ve had a camera in my hand since high school, always drawn to the challenge of capturing moments that really mean something. Whether I’m courtside, in the middle of a community event, or working behind the scenes, I approach every frame with curiosity, care, and a deep respect for the people and stories in front of me.
Along the way, I’ve worked with organizations like the Houston Texans, MOVE Texas, and the Harris County Democratic Party, and photographed everyone from professional athletes to everyday folks making things happen in their communities.
These days, I’m also leaning deeper into my art practice — sketching like crazy and exploring new ways of seeing and creating. I’m currently pursuing my graduate studies at the University of Houston’s Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts, where I’m sharpening my voice as a multidisciplinary artist and pushing my creative boundaries every day.
When I’m not making photos or sketching, you’ll probably find me journaling, reading something sharp, studying basketball, or discovering new music. All of it feeds into the way I work and the way I see.
Right now, I’m focused on growing — expanding my creative toolbox, taking on meaningful projects, and working toward my goal of becoming a professional sports photographer represented by a leading agency.
